I was previously a broadcast journalist working on the Technology, Business and Science desks for BBC News Online from 2017-2022.

 

I wrote breaking news and analytical features, ran live blogs, made editorial decisions as duty editor, subbed content, and liaised with senior BBC News editors and lawyers. In addition, I gatekept content and repurposed the BBC’s TV and radio content for online audiences.

For my technology articles, I was nominated for the Technology Journalism Award at the British Journalism Awards 2021 and made the shortlist for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Kavli Science Journalism Awards 2018.​
